Forty Days to Personal Revolution Day 40!In body & soul, you've changed. The person you were at the beginning of these 40 days no longer exists. Are you not a different person, living a different way of living?
During these final days of my commitment to this program I looked back at my journal. There I read how I scolded my self for not getting my practice in every day. I had given myself grief over Kentucky Fried Chicken. I prepared a whole weeks worth of shopping list while meditating. I was proud of my self for buying regular oat meal and fresh fruit. (LOTS of fresh fruit!) I like putting lemons in my water. Green tea is pretty good. I find my practice in everyday movements like picking up sticks and backing up my truck. I like to stand in Mountain in the grocery store and read the scandal magazine covers. I can breath in a sun set and be one with the moon.
Yes, I am a different now. I have seen presence in myself, my body, my nutrition.
There will be difficult moments ahead. We are creatures of habit. This program has challenged our ingrained patterns. Staying in a routine of healthy habits is not always easy. Just like with our meditation practice, we will get swept away. Realizing that you've done so, allows you to re-establish presence. No matter if it's your nutrition, your work, your love, your self... Coming back to this present moment is the best healthy habit.
I have enjoyed sharing these 40 days with you and look forward to seeing you all in class. Continue to check in here for Community Yoga class schedules and updates.
