GOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Today is Monday Febuary 1, 2010!

Law 1: Seek the truth
Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.
-John 8:31-33

Today you have opened yourself to remembering how to live a more present, healthy lifestyle. Law 1 asks you only to seek the truth without judgement. "Have the courage to open your heart, face reality, admit your mistakes and take right action."

Now, all of that sounds difficult, but as you progress through these 40 days the right action will become easier and easier to identify. Simply being present is where you begin.

Week 1 Come into your Body, Presence
Yoga practice
6 days of the week. Do what ever fits into your schedule. If you go to a class, use a DVD or just your own flow (for at least 20 minutes) focus on your breath. UJJAYA
Meditation 5 Minutes.....The basic technique is on page 55.
Nutrition Seeking Balance Heating/Cooling, Cleanseing/ Building foods. page 93.

Take a deep breath in..............................................and a slow breath out................................

40 Days Log

Hello Friends,
Hopefully you have already printed and looked through your log. You will find it very helpful to track your progress and keep you motivated. I used the food lists to shop prior to my starting the program. You will undoubtly see things new to you. I'm not sure seaweed is even sold in my grocery store! Don't worry you pick what you want to eat. Maybe you'll try something new? The bottom line is try to use fresh unprocessed or least processed foods.

Get Ready, Get Set!

Only one more week until we begin! Your commitment to these 40 Days is a great start. I remember the first time I started the program. I encouraged myself by saying, "Its only 40 days." That helped me to get started. Funny thing is that 2 years later I still apply the healthier lifestyle I learned during those short 40 days.
Now is the time to begin to get familuar with your book. Be sure to read the first chapter, Laws of Transformation by Feb. 1, from there we will begin week one together. I will be getting a journal to you via E- Mail soon. You'll want to print it and write all over it and your book.

Getting Closer

Hello Ciber Yogies!
As we get closer to Feb 1 more of my community class students are deciding to join us for 40 days of yoga, meditation and attention to what we put into our bodies. I have started to re-read my book. The simplicity of it still amazes me.
